Le Professeur Pierre WOLPER est devenu le 23 octobre 2018 le 62e Recteur de l'Université de Liège.

Le Recteur Albert Corhay lui a remis l’hermine lors de la séance académique de ce 23 octobre. Pierre Wolper a donné son premier discours et présenté l’ensemble de l’équipe rectorale.

e recteur élu Pierre Wolper a présenté sa vision de l’Université de Liège dans un discours prononcé en la Salle académique ce 23 octobre, en présence de nombreuses personnalités. À cette occasion, le Recteur Albert Corhay lui a remis officiellement l’hermine, symbole de la fonction rectorale, au terme de son allocution de bienvenue.
Dans son premier discours rectoral, Pierre Wolper a tenu à adresser ses premiers messages à la communauté universitaire, à notre entourage immédiat, ville, région et pays, et enfin au monde.

On March 23th, the ceremony honouring the PhD Graduates of ULiège was held at the University of Liege. 254 PhDs and 3 Ambassadors were honored.
The closing event, hosted at the University of Luxembourg, of the project that aims to create a legal entity for cross-border alliances and present the results.
Each year, the Foundation for Future Generations rewards young graduates who have presented high-quality work on "transforming the world". For this 2024 edition, five winners are graduates of the Université de Liège.
