Most of us have re-used open software, either because it is easy or because it is meaningful, but can open software really be re-used to any purpose? How can open software and open data be linked together, which tools and standards can be chosen? What do licences for both these objects mean? In the end, why should we even make an effort to share software on top of data, is there really an added value to all this?

The point of this roundtable is to answer these questions and those you will bring to the discussion with our three great speakers:

  • Jérémie Fays, Technology Transfer Officer at ULiège
  • Raphaël Marée, Senior Research Fellow at ULiège and scientific collaborator of Cytomine
  • Ken Hasselmann, ULB Researcher & Lecturer-researcher at ECAM Brussels, Electronics and IT Engineering

Half the webinar time will be dedicated to conversation, your attendance is therefore important to us, as is the attendance of your colleagues who may be interested!

Please note that the event will be in English. No need to be a coding expert to attend! Please use this registration form, and if you wish, you can use it to send in the questions you may already have, to make moderation even easier, although spontaneous conversation will be encouraged of course…!
