Mobility Week 2023
2023

Info
Arlon - Gembloux - Liège
As part of its commitment to a sustainable campus, each year the University organises a number of activities as part of European Mobility Week to raise awareness among the university community of the need to use shared transport and active modes of transport to get to ULiège campuses.
On the programme for 2023
From 16 to 22 September :
- COVOITURAGE & MARCHE: win cinema tickets!
Cinema tickets are up for grabs for members of the ULiège community (students and staff) who carpool or walk.
Carpooling:
To enter, simply send a photo of you and your colleagues on a shared journey to sedeplacer@uliege.be A draw will be held every day from Monday 18 to Friday 22 September to determine the winners.
As a reminder, the UGo car-sharing application, developed by the University, is available to you.
Walking :
Join the STRAVA group "ULiège - j'y vais à pied" and enter your home/campus journeys made between 18 and 22 September.
Cinema tickets will be awarded to the most regular walkers and the walkers who cover the most kilometres during the week, and there will also be a prize draw among all the participants! - BIKING: take part in the cycling challenge.
Last year, nearly 70 cyclists clocked up 5,730km during Mobility Week, enabling ULiège to win the corporate cycling challenge organised by Wallonia and the Union Wallonne des Entreprises.
This year, let's try to gather more than 100 participants to reach 6,000km!
> To enter your home/campus journeys during Mobility Week, go to veloactif.be from 18/9. - WALK: A few steps a day, keep the doctor away !
Did you know that a person who sits for 7 hours a day (or continuous periods of 2/3 hour) is considered sedentary? To combat the negative effects of a sedentary lifestyle, it's a good idea to build 30 minutes of physical activity into your daily routine!
So don't hesitate to include some walking time in your day!
Whether it's making walking a regular part of your daily routine for journeys of less than 2 km, getting off the bus earlier than your destination, encouraging intermodal transport (car + public transport), parking your car further away, scheduling meetings in a room further away, etc.
> To find out more about actions to promote walking at ULiège. - GEMBLOUX: bicycle/micro-mobility device survey
If you use a bicycle/micro-mobility device (monoroue, scooter, etc.) to get to the Gembloux campus
or
you are planning to travel to the Gembloux campus by bike/micro-mobility device in the near future,
take part in the survey to identify your needs and expectations!
> I would like to take part in the Gembloux Agro-bio Tech campus bike/micro-mobility vehicle survey
TUESDAY 19/9 from 12pm to 1pm :
