François Hollande answers questions from ULiège students

François Hollande, former President of the French Republic, was welcomed at the University of Liège (ULiège) on Wednesday 4 October 2023.

He gave a lecture in the Salle Noppius (Complexe Opera) entitled "Bouleversements", the title of his essay published a year ago by Stock, and answered at length the well-researched questions of 500 political science and law students from the University of Liège, who had come together at the invitation of their professor Geoffrey Grandjean.

The book-signing session after the conference was also a great success, with François Hollande devoting two hours of special attention to each of the many people who wanted to sign his book.

In addition to Rector Anne-Sophie Nyssen and the university authorities, a number of VIPs welcomed François Hollande for this exceptional occasion, including Walloon Minister-President Elio Di Rupo, Governor Hervé Jamar and Mayor Willy Demeyer.
