Public Transport

In Campus Student Life

As part of the progress of tram works in Liège city centre, the Opéra zone will be permanently closed to TEC passengers from Wednesday 18 October.

In practical terms, this means

For passengers travelling to Sart Tilman:

The departure of line 48 will be relocated to Place du 20 août, opposite the Théâtre de Liège.
The "Pont d'Avroy" and "Lonhienne" stops will be removed and replaced by a temporary "Pont d'Avroy" stop on Avenue Maurice Destenay.

For people travelling to 20 Août or the Complexe Opéra :

The terminus of line 48 has been relocated to Place Cockerill, opposite the PAX bookshop (7 minutes' walk from the old terminus).

For users of lines 1, 2 and 3 :

Line 1: the stops for Guillemins and Coronmeuse have been moved to République Française.
Lines 2 and 3: the terminus for lines 2 and 3 will also be affected. From now on, passengers will disembark at the foot of the footbridge at Place Cockerill and disembark at Place du 20 Août (at the current stop).
