Belgium's biggest women's race in aid of the Fondation Léon Fredericq and breast cancer research. La Liégeoise is much more than a race, it's a dynamic movement that unites participants in a meaningful adventure.

Make your voice heard, loud and clear, respectfully and sympathetically, around the issue of gender and equality. A cycle of 3 slam workshops reserved for the university community, followed by an open stage, orchestrated by the collective L-SLAM.

Gender issues at ULiège

Since 2019, ULiège has been committed to fighting discrimination of all kinds. Various actions have been undertaken. Promoting such changes involves changing the university itself, to make it a working and living environment that is both more open and more inclusive; betting that the diversity of people is an asset for the benefit of teaching, research and knowledge itself.

FERULiège: reflection and commitment

FERULiège - Femme Enseignement Recherche Université de Liège - was founded on March 8, 2001. For the past 23 years, this structure has brought together all those at ULiège who are involved in the scientific field of gender and women's studies, both through their research and their teaching.

ODD 5 : Égalité entre les sexes
Réaliser l’égalité des sexes et autonomiser toutes les femmes et les filles Le cinquième objectif est spécifiquement dédié à l’autonomisation des filles et des femmes. Il concerne l’égalité entre les sexes et vise à mettre fin à toutes les formes de discriminations et de violences contre les femmes et les filles dans le monde entier. Les cibles définies concernent : la lutte contre les discriminations et contre les violences faites aux femmes, l’accès des femmes à des fonctions de direction et de décision et l’accès universel aux droits sexuels et reproductifs.
