The University of Liège (ULiège) in Belgium invites outstanding postdoctoral researchers to co-apply with ULiège supervisors to the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions-2026-Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF), which has a submission deadline on September 9, 2026.
The MSCA-PF is an excellent funding opportunity for post-PhD researchers to advance their research and career ambitions. The grant covers personnel costs, which consists of living + mobility + family/special needs (if applicable) monthly allowances, as well as research, training and networking contributions. Postdoctoral fellows can be hosted by the ULiège for either European (12-24 month period) or Global (12-month mandatory return period after a 12-24 month outgoing phase) fellowships. Please see the basic eligibility conditions listed below.
The ULiège provides a dynamic research and training environment for postdocs across its 11 Faculties in the domains of social sciences and humanities, life sciences, and physical sciences and engineering. Multidisciplinary research groups with top publications and translational valorisation outputs could be selected as host laboratories.
Online Masterclass
Proposal preparation support for selected applicants will be provided by ULiège Research, Innovation, Support & Enterprise (RISE) unit, which includes a three-day online proposal masterclass that will take place on May 20, 21 and 28, 2026. Applicants are expected to make themselves available on all these days.
A confirmed agreement between the postdoctoral applicant and the ULiège supervisor is a pre-requisite for proposal preparation support and participation in the Masterclass. Applicants themselves should directly contact their preferred supervisors and obtain the supervisors' agreement for co-applying for the MSCA-PF fellowship. Prospective applicants are invited to consult this ULiège webpage to learn about the university research teams.
Postdoctoral applicants with a confirmed ULiège supervisor should complete the online application form latest by May 6, 2026. Applicants from outside Belgium are encouraged to complete the online form in advance of this closing date. Selected applicants will be informed by email latest by May 15, 2026.
