On Sunday, April 12, 2026, don your sneakers for the 17th edition of the 15 km Liège Métropole! It's a great opportunity to take up a sporting challenge and enjoy a convivial moment with Team ULiège. 

Once again this year, ULiège is a partner of this event organized by asbl Zatopek. Six routes, ranging from 7 km to 45 km, will enable everyone to take up a challenge adapted to their abilities and desires. The race takes place in a magnificent setting, showcasing the finest assets of the Liège metropolis.

Proposed events in 2026

• Jogging 7 km (€11 ): the ideal distance for beginners or intermediate runners, or for experienced runners looking to improve their times.
• Jogging 15 km (€15 ): the queen of April's distances, the 15 km is perfect for runners accustomed to running 10 km who are looking to outdo themselves on a special occasion.
• Trail 24 km (€23) or 45 km (€35 ): these are the distances for our warriors, those who train tirelessly on campus and like to work up a sweat whatever the weather. Both courses are set in the beautiful wooded Ourthe valley. New for 2026: these 2 distances are 3 km longer than in previous years.
• 8 km walk (€9 ): a sightseeing walk through the historic center of Liège.
• 18 km walk (€21): an 18 km nature and sports walk in the Ourthe valley (open to Nordic walking).

The 3 km jog has not been organized since 2025. Used to run this distance? Don't hesitate to try the 7 km challenge or opt for the 8 km walk.

In 2025, Team ULiège gathered more than 1,500 participants and set an all-time record. What if, in 2026, we could go even further?

But there's also a competition within the competition! Every year, the Interfaculty Challenge is an opportunity for faculties to measure their commitment and show off their colors in a collective display of energy.

Last year, the Faculty of Applied Sciences won for the third time running, with a remarkable 8.88% participation rate. But the competition is fast approaching: the Faculties of Medicine and Science have shown that they can seriously upset the podium.
