Chaque année, le Fonds National pour la Recherche Scientifique (F.R.S.-FNRS) octroie des subsides à des scientifiques des universités de la Fédération Wallonie Bruxelles afin qu'ils puissent se consacrer à leur recherche scientifique. Parmi les bourses octroyées cette année, 145 sont destinées à des scientifiques de l’ULiège.

e FRS-FNRS (Fonds National de la Recherche Scientifique) est une fondation d'utilité publique ayant pour objet de favoriser la recherche scientifique dans la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles par l'octroi de subsides à des scientifiques pour leur permettre de se consacrer à leur recherche, et à des institutions pour leur permettre d'équiper ou de faire fonctionner des unités de recherche. Depuis plus de 90 ans, le FNRS contribue au développement de la recherche fondamentale en Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles par sa politique d'encouragement de l'excellence scientifique et de support aux chercheurs aux différents stades de leur carrière.

L’Université de Liège et le CHU de Liège sont heureux de remettre, à l’occasion de la soirée de clôture du Télévie 2026, deux chèques issus notamment de la formidable mobilisation autour des 24h Vélo !
Dans le cadre du 5e appel à projets Interreg VI Meuse-Rhin, 3 projets de recherche ont été retenus à l'ULiège. Parmi ceux-ci : le projet IMPRESS, coordonné à l'ULiège par Méryl PAQUAY (Médecine, Département des sciences de la santé publique).
Le CRef s'associe à ses homologues européens et signe un appel commun pour renforcer les programmes européens de recherche et d'enseignement.
