In the crystal-clear waters where the mangroves meet the sea, an ancient predator glides silently by - the Small-toothedSawfish , a living witness to 420 million years of evolution, now on the brink of extinction.

This captivating exhibition plunges you into theheart of two vital sanctuaries: the preserved ecosystems of Andros in the Bahamas and the protected waters of the Florida Everglades. Through the lenses of Michael Scholl, Olivier Born and Matthew Potenskidiscover the heroic work of scientists fighting against the clock to save this extraordinary species.

Breathtaking images document the researchers wading into the shallows, delicately capturing these marine giants for study. Each photograph reveals the urgency: fewer than 5,000 adults survive in the wild. The young sawfishphotographed in their mangrove nurseries, are entirely dependent on these natural refuges, threatened by coastal development.

The exhibition also reveals the hope - cutting-edge technologies that enable us to track these animals for ten years, the recently protectedhabitats, and the contagious passion of conservation teams.

A call to action: Every marked toothed rostrum, every protected creek brings us closer to saving this species. But time is running out.

Come and discover these underwater sanctuaries and understand why protecting the sawfish is non-negotiable for the balance of our oceans.

An exceptional photographic exhibition, presented by the Save Our Foundation Seas. To be discovered at the Aquarium in the Sharks and Coral Reefs room.
