For one month, the Aquarium-Museum team invites you to explore the richness and diversity of freshwater environments, which are often discreet, sometimes overlooked, but essential to life on Earth.
Rivers, lakes, ponds, wetlands, and tropical rivers: these ecosystems are home to exceptional biodiversity and play a fundamental role in the balance of our planet. However, they are also among the most threatened natural environments. There are many causes for this: pollution, climate change, urbanization, aquaculture, etc.
Throughout Freshwater Month, the Aquarium-Museum is offering a varied program of events to help visitors better understand, observe, and discuss temperate and tropical freshwater environments. Interactive activities, guided tours, lectures, and games will punctuate these weeks dedicated to discovery and scientific curiosity.
Whether you are curious, passionate about nature, an aquarium enthusiast, or simply looking for an activity to share, these events are open to everyone, young and old alike.
