Ethics and Scientific Integrity Awareness Day
On October 17, 2025, the University of Liège organized an Ethics and Scientific Integrity Awareness Day, a must-attend event for the ULiège research community.
As a public university open to the world and is anchored in the scientific, cultural and economic development of its region, the University of Liège relies on its three pillars: teaching, research and community service.
ULiège trains responsible citizens who are provided with cutting-edge knowledge and critical thinking, are able to share knowledge and can push forward an increasingly complex world.
ULiège develops and promotes excellence in research, multidisciplinary and direct engagement with its instruction.
Global exposure is a top priority at the University of Liège. The institution offers a wide range of international mobility opportunities to students, researchers and staff, enabling them to enhance their cross-disciplinary skills and language knowledge.
ULiège: an experience of daily living. Located in 3 cities and 4 campuses, the university is a key player in terms of the environment and mobility.
You new appointment with research is called Labo4! Broadcast every month on Qu4tre in French, this new program will open the doors of the University of Liège’s laboratories to help you understand, in concrete terms, how research sheds light on and improves our daily lives.
W
hether it’s in your morning coffee, the apps you use on your smartphone, or your leisure time, science is part of your everyday life. On Labo4, we’ll help you decipher it and show you its most surprising applications. Through immersive visits to laboratories and on-set discussions, each episode will explore a new theme with the help of researchers from the University of Liège. We’ll take you into spaces rarely accessible to the general public to see how science actually happens: protocols, tests, demonstrations, but also doubts, iterations, and discoveries. In parallel, guests on set will put current events into perspective, unpack the issues, and connect field results to concrete solutions.
Labo4 is neither a lecture nor a guided tour—it’s a back-and-forth between experimental practice and clear explanation, between curiosity and usefulness, to make research close, readable, and shareable.
The show is hosted by Julie Louis, head of research communications within ULiège’s Communication Service, and Arnaud Collette, a staff member at the RISE Service (Research, Innovation, Support, and Enterprises), committed to supporting research and knowledge transfer—from project development to the protection and valorization of results.
