Every year, the Belgian National Fund for Scientific Research (F.R.S.-FNRS) awards grants to researchers from the universities of the Fédération Wallonie- Brxuelles so that they can devote themselves to their scientific research. Among these grants are the FRESH and FRIA grants, which enable young researchers to prepare and present a doctoral thesis. Congratulations to them!

he FRS-FNRS (Fonds National de la Recherche Scientifique) is a non-profit foundation whose purpose is to promote scientific research in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation by giving grants to researchers to enable them to devote themselves to scientific research, and to institutions to enable them to equip or operate research units. For 90 years, the FNRS has contributed to the development of fundamental research in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation through its policy of encouraging scientific excellence and supporting researchers at various stages of their careers.
This year, the FRS-FNRS selected 96 projects of young researchers from ULiège who will be able, thanks to a four-year research grant, to prepare and present a doctoral thesis in the fields related to Human and Social Sciences (FRESH grants) and Industry or Agriculture (FRIA grants).
