On Saturday, February 7, the University of Liège held its doctoral degree ceremony. 265 new doctors were honored, as well as three ULiège ambassadors.
Each year, 200 to 300 doctoral graduates receive their degrees from the University of Liège. For the 2025 calendar year, there were 265, of whom 45% were women and 55% were men, representing no fewer than 33 nationalities and coming from the 11 faculties that make up ULiège.
These 265 PhD graduates, working and living around the world, are now part of an international community of scientists. They are a source of great pride for ULiège, which has supported them on their journey and contributed to their specialization in a field of research, while recognizing their qualities and skills.

This ceremony was also an opportunity for the institution's authorities to award the status of "ULiège Ambassador" to three prominent figures who are active in a specific region of the world and who contribute to the reputation of the University of Liège.
