On September 25, the Université de Liège renewed its commitment to international openness by holding its traditional welcome evening for newly enrolled international students.
With almost 4,000 students from the four corners of the globe, ULiège pays particular attention to their integration into the university community.
The event was held at the emblematic Grand Poste in the heart of Liège. Nearly a hundred participants took part, sharing a convivial moment rich in exchanges with the Academic Authorities, representatives of the eleven Faculties, as well as administrative and support service teams.
In his welcome address, the Vice-Rector for Mobility and International Affairs, Pierre Duysinx , underlined the institution's international vocation.
Frédéric Ciabatta of International Relationsthen presented the support services available to international students, emphasizing the department's involvement in their integration process.
The evening was a privileged moment of exchange and encounter, marking the start of a university career at ULiège for these students from abroad.
