This international conference, organized under the prestigious banner of the "International Astronomical Union Symposium" (the first to be held in Liège since 1964), aims to bring together scientific communities interested in stars and exoplanets. Scientists from around the world will be in attendance. The symposium is also open to doctoral students and undergraduates in astrophysics and space sciences.

A free public lecture, open to anyone interested in the symposium’s theme, will be given on Tuesday, August 18 at 8:00 PM in the Salle Académique by Michaël Gillon, titled “Life Beyond the Solar System.”
Presentation of ULiège, walking tour of the city centre (unexpected aspects of the tow, cultural highlights and practical tips), welcome drink at brasserie Sauvenière, movie.
With a specific focus on early career researchers, participants will have the chance to share and discuss experiences, present their work, and build networks across disciplines and regions.
