Retrouver la sérénité dans le cadre d’une phase transitoire
Communiqué du Conseil des rectrices et recteurs du 18 avril 2024 à propos du décret « Paysage » amendé
As a public university open to the world and is anchored in the scientific, cultural and economic development of its region, the University of Liège relies on its three pillars: teaching, research and civic engagement.
ULiège trains responsible citizens who are provided with cutting-edge knowledge and critical thinking, are able to share knowledge and can push forward an increasingly complex world.
ULiège develops and promotes excellence in research, multidisciplinary and direct engagement with its instruction.
Global exposure is a top priority at the University of Liège. The institution offers a wide range of international mobility opportunities to students, researchers and staff, enabling them to enhance their cross-disciplinary skills and language knowledge.
ULiège: an experience of daily living. Located in 3 cities and 4 campuses, the university is a key player in terms of the environment and mobility.
During the lead-up to exams and actual exam periods, ULiège libraries are open for longer and also make a number of study rooms available to students to give them somewhere quiet to work, even on Saturdays.
Between 17 December 2018 and 19 January 2019, our libraries will be open for longer and a number of study rooms will be made available for quiet study, even on Saturdays! This year, only ULiège students and staff members will be able to use our libraries for study during this period.

ULiège students are also welcome to use the study rooms at any of the higher education institutions belonging to the Liège-Luxembourg academic Cluster, the opening hours of which have been extended during the blockade.

Want to find out how busy certain ULiège libraries (ALPHA reading room, BSV CHU, Graulich and BST Sciences) are in real time without having to leave the house? Now you can!
Given the high levels of use during this period, students from other higher education institutions in the Liège-Luxembourg Cluster will not be granted access to ULiège libraries this year.
However, they are welcome to use any of the study rooms in the Liège-Luxembourg academic Cluster, including the 3 available at the University of Liège (B8, B35A, A2/5/11)
