Meeting of the UniGR Council at the University of Liège
The seven partners of the Université de la Grande Région met at the Château de Colonster (ULiege campus) to take stock of current collaborations and outline the future of the consortium.

L’ULiège, représentée par son Premier Vice-recteur Jean Winand, mène des échanges institutionnels avec l’Université Polytech International (POLYTECH INTL) de Tunis. Objectif : identifier les opportunités de partenariats dans le domaine de l’Architecture et, plus largement, les possibilités de collaborations Nord/Sud en matière d’enseignement.
L’université privée POLYTECH INTL de Tunis, axée sur la formation d’ingénieurs et d’architectes, organise actuellement sa « Winter School », un ensemble d’ateliers mis sur pied en collaboration étroite avec l’Université de Liège.
Partant des échanges d’expériences de leurs institutions respectives, les autorités des deux universités belge et tunisienne entendent construire ensemble différents axes de collaborations. C’est prioritairement autour de l’Architecture que se mènent ces réflexions. La collaboration entre l’Université de Liège et POLYTECH INTL a en effet débuté en 2018 lors de l’externalisation du certificat d’université « Building Information Modeling » (Faculté d’Architecture).
Ces discussions ont pour objectif d’identifier les opportunités de collaborations entre POLYTECH INTL et l’ULiège dans le domaine de l’Architecture et, plus largement, les possibilités de collaborations Nord/Sud en matière d’enseignement.
Ces partenariats s’envisagent autour de trois axes principaux :
Jean Winand, Premier Vice-recteur de l’ULiège, en charge notamment des relations internationales, mène ce travail avec Sadok Chaabane, directeur général de POLYTECH INTL.
