As every year, many people within the University of Liege and the University Hospital of Liege mobilized themselves during several months in order to collect a maximum of donations for the benefit of the operation Télévie.
The 24-hour Télévie Bike Challenge has raised 222,668 euros in donations. This 8th edition of the sporting and convivial challenge gathered more than 1000 participants: 96 teams spread over 9 sites. Over the years, the event has become the flagship activity of the Télévie operations carried out at the University Hospital of Liege and at the ULiège, in collaboration with several partners (the companies Greisch, Eloy and ASL Airlines Belgium, the municipalities of Marchin and Jette, Wallonie Entreprendre).
In addition, other support events or allowed to inflate the total check: breakfasts on the various sites of the University Hospital, the Christmas tree operation, the Flea Market at the Cora of Rocourt, the sale of Télévie products,...
The Télévie operation allows to finance 175 researchers in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, of which 57 work at the University of Liege.
