On February 8, LIEGE CREATIVE brought together 90 participants from the worlds of research, business and the public sector at Val-Benoît to identify the key themes for its future program of meetings and conferences. Here is the report.

After an inspiring welcome session, 7 thematic sub-groups exchanged ideas with a cross-disciplinary focus on the Environment, Agri-food, Urbanism & Habitat, Materials, Digitization & AI, Soft skills and the One Health concept. Reflecting the concerns of the participants, the topics and issues listed in the summary report will guide LIEGE CREATIVE's programming over the coming months.

It's worth noting that a number of cross-cutting trends were raised, such as :
  • Risk culture
  • The need to inform and raise awareness (particularly of environmental issues)
  • The creation of forums for exchange and meetings
  • The participatory and civic dimension
  • The added value of systemic approaches
For the first time, the One Health concept has guided part of the reflections, in line with the institutional project initiated by ULiège around this transdisciplinary approach.

Supported by ULiège-RISE, LIEGE CREATIVE is a conference-meeting forum that brings together players from the worlds of research, business and the public sector around a program guided by three key words: Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship.
