Towards an Energy Community at the LIEGE science park
21 companies and ULiège are studying the possibility of setting up an energy community at the LIEGE science park, in a pioneering approach based on the willingness of players to work together.

Après plusieurs reports, le satellite ICON de la NASA devrait être lancé ce jeudi 8 novembre à partir d’un avion orbital au-dessus de l’océan pacifique.

e satellite développé par l’Université de Berkeley permettra de mieux comprendre les interactions entre les vents solaires, le champ magnétique et l’atmosphère terrestres, et l’impact de ces interactions sur la météorologie terrestre (par exemple, des phénomènes qui influencent les moussons dans les Tropiques), les perturbations des signaux GPS et des télécommunications globalement.
Le Centre Spatial de Liège (CSL, ULiège) a collaboré étroitement avec l’Université de Berkeley pour la conception, le développement et la calibration du télescope ultraviolet FUV (Far Ultra Violet). Cet instrument embarqué par le satellite ICON a été testé sous vide, en environnement spatial, au CSL.
Après le lancement, le Laboratoire de physique atmosphérique et planétaire du Pr Denis GRODENT (ULiège) participera également à l’analyse des données envoyées par la mission ICON.
