Amélie Paterka (Faculté des Sciences appliquées) remporte le prix SECO pour son travail de fin d’études qui porte sur l’analyse des dommages structuraux causés aux bâtiments lors des inondations de juillet 2021.

The opening ceremony of Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech's academic year took place on October 3.

Professors Anne-Sophie Duwez (Sciences), Françoise Remacle (Sciences) and Aurore Richel (Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech) have been appointed new full members of the Académie Royale des Sciences, des Lettres et des Beaux-Arts de Belgique.

Docteur honoris causa de la Faculté de Droit, de Science politique et de Criminologie, Philippe Sands honorera l’Université de Liège de sa présence les 24 et 25 octobre prochains.

Her project will enable her to study the impact of pharmaceutical compounds on cellular processes and their potential toxicological effects.

A researcher in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Liège, she received this prize for her work on neonatal screening for spinal muscular atrophy.

Sophie Andreetta (sociologist), Arnaud Blomme (biologist), Grégory Exh (), Stéphanie Herkenne () and Manon Stipulanti () have just been awarded an FNRS qualified researcher mandate to continue their research at ULiège.

The event was held on 14 August at the Town Hall.

The 2022-2023 Prize of the Consular Corps of the Province of Liège is awarded to Ms Mélina Di Matteo, holder of a Master's degree in History at ULiège, for her thesis.

Among the grants awarded by the FRS-FNRS this year, 118 will finance research carried out by ULiège scientists.
